Class Notices
The proposed NAR settlement agreement includes notifying members of a nationwide class of affected home sellers about the proposed settlement. Find out what class notice includes, who’s receiving it, and how to answer consumer questions about class notice in this video.

Members should direct consumers to the settlement website (www.RealEstateCommissionLitigation.com) where they can find relevant information. You may also direct them to call the settlement administrator at 888-995-0207, for additional guidance. Members should refrain from further advising consumers on class notice.

Legal Hotline
The Legal Hotline is a program developed to provide quick access to attorney Vern Jarboe and his team of Kansas real estate experts. The Legal Hotline is available to Kansas REALTORS® and licensees. It is your link to an attorney who can provide information about real estate law and related matters. The service is available to both brokers and agents with their broker’s consent.
Before using the hotline, please formulate a clear question, gather all relevant facts, and have your Legal Hotline information available.
The Hotline operates from 10 am-Noon and 2-4 pm Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. If additional research is necessary, questions will be answered within 24 hours. The attorney provides a follow-up letter to the designated REALTOR® within 48 hours of the answer.
